In this workshop, you’ll be given all the necessary tools needed to begin your own creative exploration of hand lettering in the form of faux calligraphy. This will be an interactive class complete with a workbook, drawing tools, and a class project to design a personalized greeting card or gift tags for your loved one. This workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to tap into their creativity by learning the basics of hand lettering.
All materials are provided and all experiences welcome – must be 15+
About the Instructor:
Nkem Warner is a hand lettering artist, graphic designer, and owner of For tha Masses Design, a design studio specializing in hand-lettered goods. Her lettering journey started in 2016 as a 100-day personal project that evolved into a 365-day project the following year. Since then, Nkem has built a business offering hand lettering services for a variety of design projects including logo designs, murals, and more. As an artist, Nkem believes that art can be a tool to spark conversation and through her love of type design, she’s been able to share that joy with others.
