Monoprinting in it’s most fun form! Create small hand pulled prints in this fun class where students will learn how fun and easy it is to layer color and designs using a Gelli-plate. We will start with using commercial stencils and discuss how layering the colors creates depth within your composition. Students will then move on to using photocopies, magazine pages and even china markers to create transfers on top of their colorful prints. During the class we will also discuss the types of paper that you can use to print, other types of mark making on the Gelli-plate, the best type of “ink” (or paint) and the many uses for Gell-printing in your art making.

All materials are provided and all experiences welcomed

Must be 15+
