5:30-8:30pm

$180

In this class students will learn the art and skill of relief printing with linoleum or wood blocks. Participants will learn the entire printing process from idea to edition. We will be working on mounted linoleum or 3/4″ wood blocks and printing up to 4 colors in reduction.

We will learn how to “separate” your design elements into colors and carve the design needed for each color. Students can print 3-4 colors depending on design. Lino vs wood properties will be discussed as well as preparation for both. The class will go over how to choose, use and care for carving tools. Instructors tools can be borrowed and ink will be provided. Students will have to purchase papers for printing (will be discussed and info provided).

All skill levels welcomed. Must be 18+
